January 2010:

All involved with Vagelloron Stud would like to wish all past, present and future clients, friends and family a happy new year and hope everyone had a lovely xmas! We are hoping both  boys will be busy this coming stud season-Nemo will be standing with Touchwood Stud again this year, where he will also be starting his eventing career and Rubi will possibly be standing nr Newbury this year depending on a few things to be sorted with the stud who we may be using as a walk in yard to cover mares. All will be confirmed once we have delt with the queries concerned! Here's to a successful 2010!

November 2009:

*Rubicolor has started hs BSJA debut and is loving his new career. Proving bold and brave and already has winnings-new jumping pictures updated on his page monthly so keep a look out!

October 2009:

*Nemo goes to his first jumping show in prep for his eventing career next season and proves a star by jumping double clear in the 1m class. Well done to Nemo, his rider Mike and all involved at Touchwood Stud!

September 2009:

*Rubicolor starts xc schooling and is absolutely loving it, which now opens up a possible eventing career for him! pictures can be seen on his page!

August 2009:

*Nemo goes to his Zfdp grading for the assessment class in order to present him for grading next year, only to be asked by the assessors if he could come forward for grading this time round as they liked him so much! He graded with them into studbook 2 due to his age and now has to do his performance test to upgrade to studbook 1. He has also passed his vetting since the grading-well done to all involved at Touchwood Stud for doing a great job with him! Nemo will be out eventing from next season

July 2009:

*Lots of new pictures of offspring by our stallions-1st up is our 2009 foal who we have named Echo (reg name to be decided)

Next is Vagelloron Rubi Mayfair also known as Daz, looking fantastic

And Vagelloron Chiquatita also known as Cinders at Cheshire County Show

June 2009:

*Buffy foals at 3am on Monday 8th June! She produces us a fantastic black colt with a tiny star and 2 white spots by the coronet band on a hind leg. Sire is Rubicolor. He is absolutely gorgeous and perfect in every way-would have been very tempted to keep him had he been a filly, but unfortunately will be for sale. Pictures to follow.

*Vagebont's offspring seem to be doing amazingly in the show ring! Latest news is that Vagelloron Fernando at his first show came home with 4 x 1st's, 2nd, 7th, champion, reserve champion and reserve supreme champion of show!!! Here he is looking all grown up:

*Also Cinders (Vagelloron Chiquatita) continues her success in the ring by winning all her 3 classes at Barton EC and taking Champion! Here she is in action:

May 2009:

*Rubicolor has been away with friend and show jumper Nicky Tate for the last month, who has been helping train and show jump Rubi for us. Rubi has taken to his new career of show jumping amazingly, schooling over 1.35m at home and competing unaffiliated open courses at shows. Only been to 3 shows and has been placed in every show. Our aim is to produce him for grading now and also prepare him for his BSJA assessment in October this year.

*Vagelloron Dancing Queen has been sold to a lovely home in Glos. We wish Bambi and her new owner Katy all the very best for now and the future!

*Cinders is proving to be an absolute star in the show ring, winning at most shows she is going to and has now qualified for Festival Of Championships-congratulations to Cinders and owner Debbie!

April 2009:

*We have received a picture of Cinders from her new owner at her latest show and its lovely to hear she is doing so well and looking great!

*Nemo has been having Dummy training at Touchwood Stud with Jamie from Equine Reproduction (www.equinereproduction.co.uk) and took to it very well. His first mare booked into him is a lovely KWPN young show jumping mare.

March 2009:

*Rubicolor has started his jumping under saddle and has taken to it very well. Now the work begins to increase in order to get him out competing and graded this year!

*We hear Cinders (Vagelloron Chiquatita) is doing extremely well with her new owners out showing and updated pictures will be added shortly. Well done Debbie and Cinders!

December 2008:

*Vagelloron Stud would like to wish all friends, family and clients a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

November 2008:

*Nemo has gone to stand at Touchwood Stud for a few seasons and to concentrate on his competition career. Details and updates including stud cards can be found at www.touchwoodstud.co.uk .

October 2008:

*Well the days are drawing in and the nights are starting to get darker earlier as we say goodbye to a not so summery Summer!! Rubi is coming on fantastic with his ridden work and is now having a very chilled couple of months out hacking to build his frame up. He has been an absolute star and isnt fazed by anything at all! Nemo is happy he has a hacking buddy instead of going out on his own all the time! Next task is to brink a very wooly Bambi in to start her breaking process to offer her for sale under saddle.

September 2008:

*Rubi is home and Touchwood Stud have done a fantastic job with him-A lot of credit goes to them and Lisa Benson who was doing his ridden work!! Great job guys!!

*It has been decided that Vagebont will be going at the beginning of November to stand at stud with Gemma and Dave Austin of www.touchwoodstud.co.uk for 2009 stud season, where they will offer natural, AI, fresh, chilled or frozen. Vagebont will also start his competition career here. We wish them all the very best and am sure he will do them proud!

*Both Cinders and Daz have been sold. Cinders went off to her new home in Blackpool where they hope to show and show jump her in the future. Daz has been sold to very talented event and SJ rider Lisa Benson based in Newbury where he will be kept entire and have a career in eventing/SJ  in the future. Vagelloron Stud wish them both all the very best for now and in the future and hope to hear of many success stories to come.

August 2008:

*Rubi has gone off to Touchwood Stud for 2 months producing!

July 2008:

*On July 1st our mare Opuschka (Pushy) had a gorgeous bay colt by Vagebont after encountering a few problems at the start where one of his front legs was folded back while on his way out. He has huge knees and hocks and is bigger than the other 2 foals at the stud who are weeks older than him, so he is going to be a big strong strapping lad by the looks of him and is expected to mature well over 16hh. He was born at 10.15pm and we have named him Darius and his registered name will be Vagelloron Starlight Crescent. Here he is just under a day old catching some zzzzzzzzzzzz'

June 2008:

*On June 17th our mare Still In Time (Buffy) has a beautiful bay colt by Vagebont. This is Buffy's 1st foal and he is simply gorgeous with a huge personality! We have named him Dexter and registered name is Vagelloron Timely Attraction. Here he is approx 5 minutes old:

May 2008:

*On May 19th our mare Fair Gemini (Gem) has a beautiful coloured colt by our stallion Rubicolor. This is Rubi's 1st foal and we are over the moon with the end result! Here is Vagelloron Rubi Mayfair (Daz) at a few hours old:

April 2008:

*Vagebont is a dad again! Honeybrook Hollie who is owned by Claire Powell, had a healthy bay colt on 23rd April after being 4 days late. He has been named George after being born on St George's day and his registered name will be Vagelloron Fernando. Here is a picture of the cheeky chap:

March 2008:

*Apologies if you have been trying to access the website without success over the last week or so. Due to the website crashing and losing every bit of information that was on here, the site had to be re-designed. Big thank you's to all involved in helping me get the website back up and running-its so much appreciated!

February 2008:

*Another email received from Kativa Hepsibah's (BSJA name Miss Print) owners to say that she she has qualified in the Newcomer and Foxhunter classes for the Winter Championships to be held at Hartpury in April. Its so nice to hear that horses/ponies that we have sold on are doing so well. Updated pictures of her show jumping will be added to the site once a gallery page is added.

January 2008:

*Happy New Year to everyone and i hope everyone had a lovely Christmas. Wishing you all a successful 2008 from all at Vagelloron Stud!

December 2007:

*A new addition to Vagelloron Stud but in the form of 2 legs not 4! Danielle gave birth to a baby girl on 13th December weighing a whopping 9lbs 9oz and she is named Latisha Brooke Coles.

September 2007:

*Vagebont attended the 1st grading that ECHA-an EU approved society, has held in the UK on September 18th and passed, aswel as passing his ridden performance test!!! We are very proud of Vagebont and congratulate Centyfield for all their hard work for holding the grading and for presenting the horses to a very high standard.

*We had the results back for Opushka's Trakehner papers verification, which revealed she is a pure bred Trakehner mare. The official statement read as follows: "The mare Opushka 0712221/92 By Pawitsch is a pure bred Trakehner mare. She has got acceptable pedigree papers from the Russian Institute at Rjazan. You now have one of the rare Russian mares to actually make it into the main Trakehner Stud Book in the UK and recognised by the Trakehner Verband Gmbh, something that only 2 others have done out of the many that have tried." We are delighted with this result and our plans will be to have her graded next year hopefully.

August 2007:

*An updated picture of Opushka's 2007 foal taken on 31st-appologies for the quality of the picture as it was taken with a mobile phone!

*Opushka is scanned back in foal to Nemo and her foal is due on July 5th 2008. This will be the 3rd foal she has had by Nemo so next year we hope to put her in foal to our other coloured boy, Rubicolor.

*We recieved an email from Kativa Hepsibah's new owners to say she is doing extremely well with her show jumping. Known as Miss Print by the BSJA, she has just stepped up to newcomers and her 1st attempt at this height, qualified for the progressive championship at scope festival. This month she attended the Scottish Home Pony International for 4 days where she came 3rd out of 100+ in the novice grand prix, where the going was described by many as "absolutely awful and extremely slippery". We hope to hear many more success stories and hope to recieve some updated pictures in due course.

July 2007:

*After an extremely hard decision, we have decided to offer for sale, Vagelloron Dancing Queen AKA Bambi. Such a hard decision to make but we want to concentrate on the stallions so would be a waste to see her do nothing in the field. See for sale page.

*Still In Time AKA Buffy is scanned in foal to Nemo and her due date will be 4th June 2008. This will be Buffy's 1st foal so we are equally excited about this one as we are with all others due. Gem also has her last scan to confirm she is still in foal to Rubicolor.

June 2007:

*Fair Gemini AKA Gem is scanned in foal to Rubicolor. We are so excited about this foal next year as it will be Rubicolor's 1st foal. Gem is due May 6th 2008.

*Opushka foaled at 2am on the 16th, a beautiful coloured filly foal, with no help whatsoever. Well done Pushy and Nemo, you have done us proud again. Unfortunately this filly will be for sale as we cannot keep them all, as much as i would like to! Pictures can be seen on the youngstock page and will be updated in due course.

*Honeybrook Hollie, whom we sold to Claire from Cornwall has been scanned in foal to Nemo! Here's to a healthy baby foal next year Claire, Hollie and family! She is due April 19th 2008.

April 2007:

*Buffy has been given the all clear to breed from as she has made vast improvement after her leg operation last year. Even though she wont go back to competing, the vet thinks she is capable of carrying a foal so will be covered this year for a 2008 foal.

January 2007:

*Happy New Year to everyone and here's to a fantastic 2007. Hope this year is better than the last!

December 2006:

*Just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!!!!

August 2006:

*Nemo comes 2nd @ NPS show in the in hand 4yo and over coloured class. Unfortunately we missed the ridden coloured class due to a shortage of entries in the 2 classes after his in hand class, but took advantage of working him in around the other horses (1st ridden show) and he went wonderful.

*Bambi takes 2nd @ Pembrokeshire County Show in a very strong BSPA youngstock coloured class.

*Opushka has her 29 day scan to confirm everything is normal and a heart beat was detected! So if all goes to plan, full brother or sister to Bambi due for 2007!

*Bambi takes 6th @ United Counties Show in a very strong CHAPS youngstock coloured class. New picture at the show is on the youngstock page, courtesy of "The Event Photographer".

*Opuschka has her 17 day scan which confirms she is in foal to Nemo for a 2007 foal!

June 2006:

*Buffy sustains an injury to her leg in the field and goes to have an operation at a Veterinary hospital Nr Badminton. This has brought absolute devastation to the stud and we will be monitoring her very closely to make her as comfortable as possible.

May 2006:

*Bambi goes to her first show @ City Of Swansea Show and comes 2nd in the CHAPS coloured youngstock class, qualifying for Royal London Show. We are all over the moon with her and she behaved impeccably!
