Vagebont combines some of the finest coloured bloodlines available in Holland. He is a grandson of the famous Samber, who needs no introduction.  His sire is Mecenas, a fabulous Polish Warmblood with almost pure Trakehner and Anglo Arab lines.  Mecenas was approved for breeding with the NRPS in Holland, and was a successful advanced dressage horse. Sadly Mecenas died early reducing the number of stock he had on the ground, but he left many elegant, big moving, athletic offspring in Holland and all over the world. Vagebont’s dam Lista, is a proven broodmare who is the dam of a ster mare in her own right. Her dam was by the prolific Afrikaner xx, whose blood is found in many successful dressage and jumping horses.
