*Stud Terms and Conditions*
*All mares must have a veterinary certificate stating that the mare has been swabbed and tested, and is free from CEM. This can be done at the stud if required and will be charged to the owner of the mare in question. No covering will take place until the test results come back stating the mare is free from CEM.*
*Hind shoes must be removed from all mares with no exceptions before covering takes place. This can also be done at the stud if required and charged to the owner of the mare in question.*
*Your mare's health is at our best interest and if we feel she requires immediate veterinary assistance, a vet will be called at first instance. Every effort will be made to contact the owner, to inform them of the situation. All veterinary fees will be charged to the owner of the mare in question.*
*Mare owners are responsible for their mare's insurance and should ensure that they have adequate levels of insurance cover for accident, death, theft or disease. Whilst every reasonable care is taken of your mare, Vagelloron Stud and anyone acting on their behalf, does not accept responsibility for any accident, injury or illness to mares whilst at the stud. We strongly recommend that all mares are at least covered for third party liability and veterinary fees under their insurance.*
*We at Vagelloron Stud reserve the right to refuse any mare that we feel is in poor condition or is unfit for breeding. We aim to breed quality stock and all horses' interest involved are taken with a professional manner.*
*All stud and livery fees must be paid in full before any mare (and foal if foal at foot) is removed from the stud. Or in the event that one of our stallions does a walk in covering at your own or another yard, all stud fees and any other fees such as fuel costs are to be paid in advance. Stud fees and collection fees are to be paid in advance also, before an semen is collected and sent out. Covering certificates will be sent out via mail from October onwards. NFFR Oct 1st terms apply-Barren mares certificate must be received at the stud by October 1st in the year the mare was covered, in order for NFFR to be in effect. If this is not adhered to and certificates are received after this date, then the NFFR is automatically forfeited.*
