(STANDING IN NEWBURY)

Here we have a young stallion imported from Germany as a 2yo and his first foal born in 2008 who sold at 4 months old to event and SJ rider. Our aim is to produce Rubi to be a competitor along side Vagebont, aswel as being a stud stallion.

Rubicolor was approved for breeding with Weatherbys NTR in 2009 and we hope to grade him in 2010.

Rubicolor was broken to ride under saddle in 2008 and is proving to have a very trainable temperament. In November 2009 he made his debut out jumping BSJA tracks where he is proving very successful. His remarkable temperament at shows has attracted many admirers who have commented on his outstanding manner around other horses including mares.

Schooling at home, Rubi is showing he has the scope and ability to go very far in his show jumping career and currently schooling over 1.50m show jumps.

In August 2009 Rubi started XC schooling which he took to really well. He has shown to be bold, brave and athletic, showing how versatile he is, aswel as showing he has the ability and talent to do more than one job, which has opened a new possible career path for him to go out eventing in the future.

Rubicolor, or Rubi as he is known as at home, combines some fantastic breeding lines being by Rubicell, who's sire needs no introduction, being Rubinstein. Rubicell is produced for dressage, where he has proved to be extremely successful, but also has a very talented, powerful and scopey jump. Rubicolor is then out of Panda, who is by the coloured stallion Granatnik. Panda has produced top class youngstock who have graded to high standards. Panda herself has also proved herself in the show jumping ring in Germany jumping 1.20 classes as pictured below.

Granatnik is also the sire of Centyfield Figiel, a stallion now living in Germany. Figiel has proved himself in many areas including qualifying for HOYS in his first and only attempt in the show ring and is jumping 1.40m classes in Germany

Rubicolor combines outstanding  free moving and elastic movement with a huge powerful and scopey jump. His willing and trainable temperament will hopefully be passed on to his youngstock.

Rubicolor is suitable to be crossed with a wide range of mares, from the lighter mare to produce show horses and eventers and he would also refine the heavier type mare to produce wonderful sporthorse youngstock.
